TURKISH
Techniques and strategies are used to make them use, read, understand and think Turkish accurately and effectively , to make inferences in their own words, to be able to notice the key words about the subject,to relate the information they learned to everyday life, to give examples, to be able to demonstrate the things from the paintings and understand what they listen to create imaginative texts. Information is structured within the collaborative working groups an respecting others' opinion is learnt..
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
In Science and Technology objectives are implemented; to be able to establish cause and effect on the subject, to be able to find similarities and differences from the data to create motion graphics, Interpret graphs, to do critical thinking, to comment, to produce new information using the information learned and give examples, to able to relate to everyday life and to have the ability to create and demonstrate creative idea, scientific thinking and study skills are developed.. All courses are implemented in a fully equipped laboratory. All of the component disciplines of science are distinguished.
MATHS
In Math classes, Analytical thinking is developed.It is very important to relate the concretization of the subject, there are examples to life. The Students are preoccupied on the logic of the concept. Data shape or interpreting diagrams, relevant questions-problems are created. Thus, problem-solving logic is developed.
With the methods applied İt is aimed; to be able to establish cause and effect relationship and to find similarities and differences.
SOCIAL STUDIES
Social studies provides opportunities for students to develop the attitudes, skills and knowledge that will enable them to become engaged, active, informed and responsible students.ıt also leads students to produce new information using the information learned and relate to everyday life and to have the ability to create and summarize the subjects in their own words.
The students are aimed to learn Geographical events in relation to formation, distribution, and result, to be able to establish and comment on graphs according to the data,to be able to notice and interrogate the different cultures and formations, to be able to establish cause and effect on the subject, to be able to research and give examples to back up their own ideas,and establish a link between the different issues find the common threads, to question the affected areas of historical events, in chronological order of societies. The transfer of information in an interdisciplinary interaction with other courses are also provided.
FOREIGN LANGUAGE
In our school European standards of a language training program is applied. English is the common language all over the world.our first aim is to encourge our students to gain the ablitiy communicate other people all over the world, to get them ready for the international exams,to enable them to think and speak fluently in addition to reading, comprehension and writing.
Foreign Language Study Program, starts with the phonics-based education in pre-school education from the age of 4.
The school proved its success with the graduates ability to use Turkish and English in all areas of life as an effective communication tool alongside with Cambridge results at every level each year.
After developing a basic structure of reading, listening and wrting in English, we start teaching Other languages.German and Italian are the other languagues we teach in our school.
In all age levels; students as individuals who speak at least two foreign languages in order to take their place in the life, constructivist education approached the, student-centered and creative process are adopted.
Students participate examinations and organizations below to evaluate their language skills;
*İzmir is selected as the Italy's foreign trade center. After the cooperation with the Italian Consulate Italian has been selected as the target language.
MUSIC
The goals of music education; It is to raise creative individuals who adopts national music,Open to world music concept, willing to participate in music activities,has the knowledge and love of music.
In our school to achieve these objectives Orff pedagogy is applied with the combination of music, drama and dance.
Our teachers regularly conduct training from the Austrian Orff Institute counselors each year and integrate their capabilities.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Students in physical education classes, learn more about themselves, discovers the power and capacity, refresh their self-confidence.
The physical education lessons activities aims to enable them to become good students and athletes engaging in any sports who have made it as a lifestyle.
This subject supports the Students to gentlemanly competite and gain the spirit of unity and togetherness with the help of the success that they have achieved they also learn how to overcome the challenges of life.

Each student in Gelişim College; Recognizing the importance and necessity of art in life, developed Aesthetic sensibility, that values the arts and artists, avoids Imitation and unskilled Works, adopting the human culture, art values and the knowledge,
A plastic arts program is applied which leads Students expresing their thoughts and feelings and transformes in to creativity.
COMPUTER
To participate in today's world to make good decisions and, each individual as an technological and general sense is required to have the necessary equipment.Today, this harware as required as traditional academic reading writing and numeracy.
In Gelişim College computer courses are taught to improve the skills that they have learnt in the previous years.In small classes It is more focused on skills intake.The more the students develo their basic skills the more they recognise abstract concepts and which makes them solve problems easily.
The students are aim to have adequate training in how to use the techonology in academic way and in the real life.
GUIDANCE
It is Gelişim teachers wish to see all the students become happy and successful individuals.To do this it’s important to help them gain the social skills, how to set goals and communications skills.
In guidance lessons; with the activities such as debating in class , drama, games in assembly hours we try to raise awareness of students .
I SOLVE THE PROBLEM (ISTP)
The program of I SOLVE THE PROBLEM (ISTP) by Prof Dr. Selahattin Öğülmüş based on a cognitive Program ‘ Interpersonal Cognitive Problem Solving approach ‘ this program helps children practically how to cope with problems and evaluate them. This program not only makes them understand others but also affect feelings.
PURPOSE
Its aim to teach students solve and avoid problems caused by people. This program wont teach them what to do when dealing with a problem it teaches thinking about the prpblem and expaning their own ideas.
Highlighted POINTS
This Program isn’t teaching What to think but How to think. It shows children the way to think on their own. It teaches children how to evaluate their own thoughts.
